Product & Responsibility

What kind of fabrics do you use?

Our material choice is based on four main criteria: strength & durability, price, environmental impact and quality & feel of the fabric. This helps us in choosing our fabrics.

We prefer to work with only natural and sustainably sourced fabrics. Our preferred
choice of fabrics are organic cotton, linen and silk.We are working towards providing you a vegan
silk option and hope to achieve it by 2023.

Where are your collections made?

We are a homegrown brand, all our fabrics are locally sourced from manufacturers and suppliers, who are, GOTS (GLOBAL ORGANIC TEXTILE STANDARD) , OEKO-TEX and BCI (better cotton initiative ) certified. All our fabrics and garments are made in India. Our manufacturing partners offer fair wages and a clean and safe work environment for their employees. We have visited the facility multiple times and are happy with the way they run and function. We choose to work with fully compliant manufacturers and suppliers, that in turn assures us the quality and sustainability of the product.

What kind of methods are used to create our garment?

We work only with fully compliant and certified manufacturers. We also follow a lean production model and create limited pieces in each style or collection. All our fabrics are organic, natural, or sustainably sourced. We prefer to use digital printing techniques, which use chemical free inks. Digital printing is a more energy and water efficient process, significantly reducing wastage of pigments and dyes. As an Indian homegrown brand, we look forward to exploring the various craft techniques and fabrics India has to offer. Our fabrics are dyed by OEKO -TEX CERTIFIED suppliers, with no use of harmful chemical substances. We avoid the use of plastic in all our packaging.

I am unable to see the product online.

We work on a lean production model, with a short product cycle, which means we produce limited quantities in each style and color. Once the product is ‘out of stock’ it is unlikely to be available again. The same style may come back in different colors and print. You can join our mailing list or follow us @anarthebrand, to learn more about our new launches, collections and restock.

We recommend you grab what you love at the earliest. We work on providing every collection in limited quantities, to avoid wastage and leftover stock. This makes your ANAR pieces exclusive and truly special.

I want information on fabric, product, size etc?

We provide garment specific details under each specific style. You can check the composition and care of the garment under the product. We also provide custom size guides specific to every garment on their respective product pages. This means that you can learn about how the silhouette is designed to fit, so you can choose the right size based on your size and styling preference.

Shipping

What is the shipping policy?

DOMESTIC SHIPPING: CHARGES & TIMING

We offer free shipping for all domestic prepaid orders.We offer COD for order upto Rs.15,000/-.We’ll get your order to you as soon as possible. We are taking extra care and safety precautions to deliver your order and we try our best to deliver it within 5-7 business days. Orders placed though Monday to Friday after 1 pm IST, will be processed the following business day. Orders placed on weekends will be processed the next business day. Please note during festivals, adverse weather conditions and pandemics, your shipment could be further delayed. We assure you we will try our best to have your parcel delivered to you at the earliest.

Do you ship overseas?

NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AVAILABLE AT THE MOMENT. we are working on offering shipping outside India at the earliest .

Who will deliver my order?

We use the best logistics company for shipping your order. Our delivery partner will attempt to deliver your package thrice before they return it to us.

How do I track my order?

Once your order is dispatched you will receive an email with the tracking link.

Returns & Exchanges

What options are available for exchange/returns?

We are a small brand and work on a lean production model which means we produce pieces in limited numbers in each style. As a company policy, for the time being, we do not offer refunds on your purchases but do provide you an option for exchange in the same style for a different size or a credit note for future purchases.
We are working hard to be able to provide you with refunds, in case you are not happy with your piece, in the near future.

Is my product eligible for exchange, how do I exchange my purchase?

1. We offer size exchange in the same product and style. In case your required exchange size is not available, we offer a credit note for the amount spent.


2. If you would like to exchange the garment in different sizes of the same style purchased. You can contact us at care@anarthebrand.com , within 5 days of receiving your purchase.


3. We will schedule a reverse pick up within 2 days of the delivery of the product to you and initiate an exchange request for you.


4. Important thing to keep in mind while sending back the product for seamless return/exchange:
All items must have the original tags, and should be unworn, unwashed, and undamaged with no smell of perfume, deodorant, or detergent, should be free of makeup or tan marks and must be in their original packaging.


5. Once the product is received at our end, we will dispatch the required size based on its availability.


6. In case the required size is not in stock, we will issue a credit note (Minus the shipping cost).


7. Your credit note is valid for a period of 8 months, and you can use it to make future purchases with us.

8. International shipments are not eligible for exchange /returns with us.

When will I receive the exchanged item?

1. Your pick will be completed within 3-4 business days, once it's received by us, which may be 5- 7 business days.


2. Once your product reaches us, your exchange will be processed, and the product will be further delivered in 5-7 business days.


3. In case of a broken and damaged product, we will ship a fresh item to you within 48 hours of receiving the complaint from you. Here, the standard delivery timeline of 5- business days will be applicable.

When will I receive my credit note?

1. We offer a credit note in case you do not require an exchange or where the exchange option is not available.


2. The credit note will be sent to your registered email Id and will be valid for 8 months from the date of issuance.

Payments

What are the accepted payment methods of domestic transactions?

We accept the following modes of payment for domestic transactions:
1. Credit cards - Mastercard, Visa, and American Express
2. Net Banking - All major banks
3. Debit Card - All major banks
4. Wallets

Due to high number of fake and fraudulent orders we are forced to suspend COD ON A TEMPORARY BASIS.

What are the accepted payment methods for international transactions?

We are now shipping  internationally, please refer to the shipping policy for list of countries and shipping charges. If you do not find your country listed for delivery, please get in touch with us at care@anarthebrand.com and we will try and help you in the best possible way. 

We accept the following modes of payment for international transactions:

• Credit cards/Debit card - Mastercard, Visa and American Express, THE PAYMENT WILL BE TAKEN IN INDIAN RUPEES. 

What should I do if my payment fails?

In case you have received a message of payment failure, you may try to place the order once again. However, if your amount has been debited, please do not retry- chances are that your order has already been received by us.

What if my card is declined?

We would request you to check with your bank, in case of insufficient balance and/or if your card is currently valid. You could also try clearing your cache and reattempting with a different card or bank account.

Money is debited but I haven't received any confirmation?

Please share your email id and the exact amount charged to us at care@anarthebrand.com so that we can quickly check at the payment gateway and will inform you accordingly.

Garment care

What kind of care does my garment need ?

We provide care instructions below every product page and on the care label of your ANAR piece. The best way to extend the life of any garment is to wear more and wash less.

Organic Cotton

Home care: hand wash in cold water with mild detergent, do not bleach, dry flat out of direct sunlight, warm iron. Dry cleanable.

Linen

Home care: hand wash in cold water with like colors, do not bleach, line dry in a cool and dark place, steam out before wear. Dry cleanable and recommended.

Cotton-Linen Blend

Home care: hand wash in cold water with like colours, do not bleach, hand dry in shade, iron warm. Dry cleanable and recommended.

Silk

Home care: hand wash in cold, do not bleach, dry flat out of direct sunlight, iron on reverse on low. Dry cleanable and recommended.

Gift Cards

Where can gift cards be purchased?

We provide e- gift cards online for your purchase. They can be purchased in denominations of 5000, 10,000 or 15,000 specified on the gift card page. Gift cards cannot be purchased with credit notes.

Where can gift cards be redeemed?

Gift card can be redeemed online at www.anarthebrand.com

How do I redeem my gift card?

To use your gift card for an online purchase, enter the gift card number in the box given on the right side of the shipping page and click on Apply. Then make any balance payment online via credit/debit card, wallets or net banking.

When does the gift card expire?

The gift card has a validity of 1 year from the date of issue and any unused corresponding balance shall be forfeited thereafter.
There is no extension on the validity of gift card and no new one will be provided in place of it.

How will I receive the gift card?

The Anar gift card will be sent directly by e-mail to the recipient.
